“I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.”

~John 10:10

God has an AWESOME plan for your life!

He wants you to be radically happy and have a meaningful life.

Do you resist that ache in your heart that only God can fill?  Are you looking for a deeper relationship with Our Lord?  Our apostolate exists to bring Christ into the lives of Catholics, outside of Sunday Mass, through fellowship, Eucharistic Adoration, Sacred Scripture, The Holy Rosary & The Divine Office.

Our Lord desires friendship with YOU.

Jesus is the answer to the restlessness in your heart.  Yes, you can have a deeper more meaningful relationship with Him.  Through persistence in prayer, community gatherings, and events, you'll discover God's unique plan for you.  Join us for our next Men's Ministry Night or Holy Hour.

HOPE

The message of the Gospel is simple:  Hope.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.  1 Peter 1:3

Our Patron, St. Josemaria Escriva, has a spirituality that every layperson can tap into and grow in faith, hope, and love with Jesus, Our Lord and King.

Encounter Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, Sacred Scripture & The Divine Office in a brotherhood of Catholic men. Discuss and apply the truths of Scripture in your daily life using the upcoming Mass readings.  Become Christ-like men who give their lives to their vocations (single or family life) and parish.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel. It is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.  Romans 1:16

About St. Josemaria Escriva

St. Josemaria Escriva is known as the saint of ordinary life. Canonized in 2002 by St. John Paul II, his core message was what the Second Vatican Council called the Universal Call to Holiness.  In other words, God has called you to be the Best Version of Yourself.

Do everything unselfishly, for pure Love, as if there were neither reward nor punishment. But in your heart foster the glorious hope of heaven.
~The Way, 668

Our Lord would love to see YOU.  Everyone is welcome, come by yourself, and bring your spouse, family, and or friends.  Spend a few minutes or the entire hour with us praising Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, Our King!

Get Involved with The Apostolate

Hello, We’re Joe & Donna Hernandez. We are the founders of The St. Josemaria Soldiers of Christ. We met in 2011 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastopol, CA while planning and organizing our first bible studies and parish conferences. We got married in 2015.  And in 2021 adopted our daughter, Olivia Marie, from South Korea.

Fr. Thomas Stuart, associate pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Petaluma, CA is part of the apostolate leadership team and has been involved with our apostolate since 2011, prior to entering seminary, and is our apostolate’s spiritual advisor and consultant.

Fr. Raúl Lemus was a part of the original apostolate a decade ago when he pastored St. Sebastian's Church in Sebastopol, CA.  He now has welcomed the apostolate to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cotati, CA where he has been the pastor since 2016. We were blessed to organize multiple Holy Hours, Bible Studies & Conferences at St. Sebastian's from 2011-2013 under Fr. Raúl, two of which included Fr. Mitch Pacwa and Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, both seen on EWTN.

We need YOUR help (regardless of your home parish) in bringing Christ into the lives of Catholics outside of Sunday Mass through holy fellowship, holy hours, and events.  Fill out our form below, or email us today.
